The official page for Team Marine Corps for the 2025 DoD Warrior Games. From July 18-26, 2025. The 2025 DoD Warrior Games, hosted by U.S. Army Training & Doctrine Command, brings together nearly 200 military service members to compete in adaptive sports as part of their recovery journeys.

About the Games

From July 18-26, 2025, U.S. Army Training & Doctrine Command will host the Department of Defense Warrior Games bringing together hundreds of wounded, ill, and injured active duty and veteran military members to compete in adaptive sports as part of their recovery journeys.

This year, in 2025, we celebrate 15 years since the inception of the DoD Warrior Games. Which highlights the exceptional physical skills and mental toughness of wounded, ill, and injured service members representing the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, Coast Guard and Special Operations Command.

Nearly 200 wounded, ill, and injured warrior athletes will compete.

11 adaptive sports over 9 days of exciting competition.

The 2025 DoD Warrior Games featured 11 adaptive sports over 9 days of exciting competition at Colorado College, Norris Penrose Indoor Event Center, and Garry Berry Stadium in Colorado Springs, CO.

The Warrior Games were established to enhance the recovery and rehabilitation of wounded, ill and injured service members and to expose them to adaptive sports. Visitors and participants will walk away with a better understanding of adaptive sports through an exciting and entertaining atmosphere, and will gain with additional understanding of how to support our athletes.

The adaptive sports featured in the DoD Warrior Games are a part of the larger DoD Warrior Care program. Within this program, adaptive sports provide reconditioning activities and competitive athletic opportunities to all wounded, ill and injured service members to improve their physical and mental wellness throughout the continuum of recovery and transition. Modified equipment and additional classification systems allow each athlete to compete, regardless of their injury or illness.

2015 DoD Warrior Games volleyball game: Army vs. Air Force.
The 2015 DoD Warrior Games feature eight adaptive sports: archery, cycling, field, shooting, sitting volleyball, swimming, track and wheelchair basketball. Each service will also nominate competitors for the Ultimate Champion, a multi-sport event in which service members and veterans compete against each other in a variety of disciplines. Wounded, ill and injured service members and veterans qualified for the 2015 DoD Warrior Games by participating in structured camps, clinics, trials and daily adaptive sports activities that were executed nationwide with support from the DoD Office of Warrior Care Policy Military Adaptive Sports Program (MASP)
