Your Benefits

Find out more about pay and entitlements including: SCAADL, PAC pay, ITOs/NMAs, and TSGLI.

Marines who are wounded while serving in a combat zone may continue to receive the same pay and entitlements they had overseas when transported stateside for treatment. Reserve Marines who are injured or fall ill while on active duty also have options to remain on active duty for treatment. Other benefits depend on the severity of the need and ability to care for one’s self once released from hospital care. Not all recovering Marines will need the same degree of assistance, and therefore, not all Marines will receive the same benefits. The qualifications for these benefits can be complicated. It’s best to gather as much information as possible from your Recovery Care Coordinator and use the Wounded Warrior Regiment fact sheet library to help you decipher the different benefits. The regiment also has experts on hand to help answer your questions.
