The U.S. Marine Corps Wounded Warrior Regiment (WWR) change of command ceremony was held at Marine Corps University’s Warner Hall on Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia, July 15, 2026. The ceremony signifies the transfer of command from Foster to Col. Javier A. Garcia, the incoming commanding officer for WWR, and the continuation of the unit’s mission to serve recovering service members.

2026 Marine Corps Air Force Trials Kicks Off

Athletes from the U.S. Air & Space Forces, and Marines as well as international partners from the United Kingdom and Ukraine participate in the opening ceremony for the 2026 Marine Corps Air Force Trials at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Feb. 25, 2026. The Trials bring together wounded, ill, and injured Marines and Airmen, as well as international allies to compete in adaptive sports and strengthen community through performance-based recovery.
